In September Pantone issued colour predictions for Spring 2017 and tones from featured highly. This week it was announced that Greenery is 15-037-43 is the colour of the year for 2017.
If you have been waiting patiently to find out what colour to adopt in your home in 2017 – this zesty, vibrant green is it! In contrast to last year, the institute has returned to one colour rather than 2016’s two-tone Rose-Quartz pink and Serenity blue.
Evoking nature and new beginnings, Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director of the Pantone Colour Institute said: “Greenery bursts forth in 2017 to provide us with the reassurance we yearn for amid a tumultuous social and political environment. Satisfying our own growing desire to rejuvenate and revitalise, Greenery symbolizes the reconnection we seek with nature, one another and a larger purpose.”
